A group supporting the presidential ambition of former Lagos Governor Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of All progressives Congress (APC), on Sunday in Damaturu carried out a marketplace sensitisation to enlighten the public on his political values.

The group leader, Ali Rambo, stated that they had searched around to find a better individual to represent Nigerians’ interests after President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure.

He added that Mr Tinubu would transform the country’s economic situation and save Nigerians from the current challenges.

“If Bola Tinubu had the opportunity for eight years in Lagos and made it the most viable economy in Africa, I want to believe that if he is given the opportunity to run this country as president, he will do better,” Mr Rambo reasoned.

He added, “Tinubu has done it before. We try to track his record. We try to look at his profile in terms of performance when it comes to public administration.”

Mr Rambo also stated that the group would carry out sensitisation campaigns across the 36 states, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
