Ahmed Musa says Liverpool’s striker Mo Salah is no threat, adding that Egypt will be worried playing against the Super Eagles in the All African Cup of Nations.

Musa made this statement speaking in a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

“I know everybody will be talking about Salah, but if you look at our own side, we have a lot of players that they will be worried about,” Musa said.

“Definitely, we don’t have to think about Salah. They have to think about our own players.

“They only talk about Salah, but we have Chukwueze and a lot of players from the wing that are more dangerous, and their defenders too will be thinking about us,” he added.

Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau are in Group D. The Super Eagles will clash with Egypt on January 11 in the AFCON scheduled to hold in Cameroon.

Salah will lead Egypt, seven-time winners of the AFCON, when they face Nigerian Super Eagles in the group stage game.
