AFCON: Mo Salah to lead Egypt against Nigeria

Salah will lead Egypt, seven-time winners of the AFCON, when they face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in a group stage game on January 11.

Egypt on Wednesday listed Mo Salah in their squad for the forthcoming African Nations Cup scheduled to hold in Cameroon in January 2022. 

Carlos Quieroz, Egypt coach, announced a 25-man squad on Wednesday for the AFCON campaign. 

Salah will lead Egypt, seven-time winners of the AFCON, when they face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in a group stage game on January 11. 

Egypt, Nigeria, Sudan and Guinea-Bissau are in Group D.
