African Volleyball Championship: Nigeria to battle DR Congo for 7th position

Nigeria faces DR Congo after losing 0-3 to hosts Rwanda on Monday at the championship holding in Kigali.

Nigeria’s senior men national volleyball team will take on their DR Congo counterparts in the match for 7th or 8th position at the ongoing 2021 African Seniors Nations Volleyball Championship.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports this became apparent after Nigeria lost 0-3 to hosts Rwanda on Monday at the championship holding in Kigali.

The Nigerian team lost the first set 17-25, the second set 22-25 and their third set 17-25.

They will now take on DR Congo in the 7th/8th classification match on Tuesday.

The 2021 African Seniors Nations Championship started September 5 and will end on September 20.
