Again, Gov. Umahi suspends another Ebonyi official

His suspension, which is with immediate effect, is a result of his alleged role in the Ezillo crisis that claimed the lives of some people in the area.

The suspension of another coordinator of a development centre in Ebonyi, James Abba, has been approved by the governor of the state.

Mr Abba was the coordinator of Ishielu Local Development Centre.

His suspension was announced via a statement issued on Sunday by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and coordinating commissioner, Kenneth Igwe.

Mr Igwe stated that the suspension was with immediate effect.

The latest suspension is coming barely a week after the suspension of the coordinator of Ohaozara Development Centre, Obinna Ekezie.

The statement directed Mr Abba to hand over all government property in his possession to the (SSG) not later than 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15.

It explained that the suspension was a result of his alleged role in the Ezillo crisis that claimed the lives of some people in the area.
