The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has penned a glowing tribute to the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari as she clocks 50 years.

The whereabouts of Mrs. Buhari has continued to generate bewilderment since she defected from Aso Villa over six months ago.

Despite her absence, the APC said it prayed for “continued wisdom and good health for the First Lady as she plays her motherly role to the First Family and our dear country.”

The first lady has been out of public glare for long, abandoning her duties as the president’s wife. Her pet project, Future Assured, has also had to endure near inactivity due to her absence.

Mrs. Buhari is rumoured to have relocated to Dubai owing to fears of insecurity at the Presidential Villa. She has also been missing from social media since November and was last seen at her daughter’s (Hanan) wedding with Mahmud Sani Sha’aban which took place in September.

Her official staff, when reached about her whereabouts for an earlier report by Peoples Gazette, refused to deny or confirm her relocation out of the country.
