Owners of Lviv-based Pravda Brewery has started making petrol bombs, popularly known as Molotov cocktails, to support Ukraine’s resistance against Russia invasion.

In it’s latest post on Instagram, the brewery encouraged citizens to join in the defence by offering free coffee and tea to anyone taking up arms against Russian invaders.

The brewery went into the production of Molotov cocktails shortly after the country’s National Security and Defense Council instructed Ukrainian citizens on how to make Molotov cocktails.

“Make Molotov cocktails, neutralise the occupier!” Ukraine defence ministry tweeted on Friday.
Former Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman had earlier shared a step-by-step video tutorial to guide Ukrainians on how to make the makeshift weapon.

A Molotov cocktail is a breakable glass bottle containing styrofoam, a flammable substance and a clothwick, which causes an immediate fireball when lit.

Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, had while speaking from Kyiv, vowed to defend his country.

Mr Zelensky also called on citizens to pick up arms in defense of the sovereignty of Ukraine.
