Chelsea outclassed Manchester City in the FA Cup Semifinal played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday to book qualification for the finals.

The Blues controlled most of the match with composed display by their midfield duo of Ngolo Kante and Jorginho.

The Manchester Blues lost Kevin Debruyne to injury in the first half. He was replaced by talented youngster, Phil Foden.

Chelsea led the scoreline in the 55th minute when the Etihad team lost possession of the ball in the midfield to Mason Mount who quickly set up Timo Werner who square passed for Hakim Ziyech to turn in a left-legged shot into the empty net.

The EPL leaders showed improvement in their play in the second half with the creating of some goal scoring opportunities which were well curtailed by out of choice keeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga and the Chelsea defense of Thiago Silva, Rudiger, Chillwell, Azpilicueta and Reece James.

The Blues saw two goals from Ziyech and Pulisic disallowed for offside.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has now defeated Pep Guardiola for the first time in his career.

Pep Guardiola’s desire of clinching the quadruple for Manchester City has now been blighted as the team is only left with the UEFA Champions League, the carabao cup and the English Premier League honours to fight for.

Chelsea now await the winner between the semifinal match of Southampton and Leicester City for the finals.

The victory will serve as a major boost for the London side as they approach the semifinals match of the Champions League against Real Madrid.
