Chimamanda loses mother

Grace Ifeoma Adichie (nee Odigwe), the mother of Chimamanda Adichie, is dead.
As of the time of filing this report, the cause of death was unknown.
The Guardian reports that Mrs. Adichie died on Monday in Awka.
The Nigerian author had lost her father, Prof. James Adichie, last October.
A family spokesperson confirmed the death.
She left behind six children: Ijeoma, Uchenna, Chuks, Okechukwu, Chimamanda, and Kenechukwu; nine grandchildren, in-laws, and many relatives.
The Adichie family has not made an official announcement about funeral rites.
