Edo Dynamos coach upbeat as team receive beating from Safety Babes

Despite losing 28-18 to Safety Babes in the national handball league, Edo Dynamos coach says his team will eventually come good.

Safety Babes thrashed Edo Dynamos 28-18 in the ongoing 2021 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Friday.

After the match, Edo Dynamos coach Aaron Okojie said, despite their loss to Safety Babes, his players put in a 95 per cent performance.

He maintained that the team will be among the best teams in the league.

“Edo Dynamos is a big team and brand, they played in the premier league for some years and they all know that their next match is a must win.

“We will re-strategise and prepare for our next match which must end with a win,” he said.

Edo Dynamos have played six matches, winning four and losing two with 14 positions and fourth on the table.

Safety Babes is on top of the table with 19 points, Adorable Angels of Kwara and Imo Grasshoppers with 16 points each to stand as the second and third on the table.

Twenty one teams, comprising 10 female and 11 male teams, are participating in the premier league.

The league, which began on Thursday, will end on November 3.
