Wizkid’s groundbreaking record “Essence”, featuring Tems, has made top 10 song on Billboard’s top 100, barely a year after its release.

The vibe anthem had earlier ranked number 82 in Billboard’s top 100 in record time before proceeding to top the charts and has now made it to Billboard’s top 10.

On October 5, Peoples Gazette had reported that the hit single had gone platinum, meaning the song had sold over a million units.

Essence was released in October 2020, alongside other remarkable songs in the ‘Made in Lagos’ album by Wizkid.

Eventually, the Essence remix featuring Canadian artist Justin Bieber was released on August 13.

The remix has over 5,260,403 streams currently across the globe.

Away from musical feat to musical fights, babymama to celebrated artist TuFace, Pero Adeniyi, has finally bared her mind on allegations of extra-marital affairs with the father of his kids.

Ms Adeniyi was initially accused by TuFace’s legal wife, Annie Idibia, of intimately rekindling romance with her husband.

But weeks after the accusations, Pero responded to critics via a dismissive message on her Instagram page.

“You are asking me to speak, if I told you my truth, would you believe? Would you not poke holes in it? My truth is special to me, those that know me to know the truth, that is all that matters,” she said.

“I will continue to guard it. Even the liar that started this madness knows the truth but needs the lie for relevance. Very soon, the truth will be out for all to see clearly, without a doubt, no one is invincible, so please continue to enjoy the lies in any way.

“Insults and dragging are yet to kill a person, no be today Una don dey comment una rubbish, continue to drag like small gen, when hand pain una, Una go stop. #unbothered.”

Ms Adeniyi’s post comes shortly after a viral video of herself alongside two other women who are “supposed” relatives to Tuface, lavishing her with praises and publicly referred to her as Tuface’s “first wife”.

Setting the record straight on an interview shared on Stella Dimoko Korkus blog on October 16, the mother of three debunked Annie’s claim that TuFace absconded from home to lodge with her in America.

“I heard he came to America in August, but we didn’t see,” Pero said.

Clarifying her current relationship status with TuFace, Pero added saying “I have not really spoken to him in four months until I was woken up with calls to go and see I was trending online because Annie mentioned that he had run off to stay with me in America.”

“We don’t really talk, we are not friends,” she added.

During the week, an alleged audio of Tonto Dike’s ex-lover Prince Kpokpogri, confessing to previous and current sexual relationship with Instagram twerker Jane Mena, hit the Internet.

Following their messy breakup over claims of infidelity from both parties, Tonto had publicly mentioned her now estranged ex, was in possession of numerous sex tapes of popular actresses including Jane Mena.

Jane proceeded to take legal action over Tonto’s claims and declared it false. She then sued her for a whopping N500 million.

“If I say your sex tape exist I say it again and again child, you can’t be begging me behind the scene to save your marriage and begging to see me for an appointment to explain yourself and then come with a petition, I am not as dumb as your boyfriend so I wouldn’t be releasing your tape nor call a week ago. See you in COURT,” Tonto fired back at Jane.

A leaked audio phone call conversation of Kpokpogri and another woman named Merit, now reveals Kpokpogri confessing to being in a steaming sexual relationship with Jane.

Kpokpogri has proceeded to delete his public apology to Jane’s husband where he debunked the scandal initially.

Jane got married to her husband in 2019.
