Veteran actor Racheal Oniga is dead

The 64-year-old died from COVID-19 complications on July 30.

Nollywood actress Racheal Oniga passed away on Friday after battling with a brief illness.

The 64-year-old died from COVID-19 complications on July 30.

The veteran actor dominated both the Yoruba and English genre of the Nollywood industry in the early 2000’s.

She began her career in 1993, featuring in several movies including Sango, Died Wretched, The Only Nigerian Girl, Doctor Bello and Chief Daddy.

The death of the actress came barely three weeks after another showbiz celebrity, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan died in the United States.
