Rapper Kanye West has been suspended from Instagram for 24 hours over hate speech against ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson and TV host Trevor Noah.

A spokesperson for Meta, said Kanye’s recent posts violated Instagram’s policies on hate speech, harassment and bullying, hence the 24 hour suspension which would prohibit the star from being able to post, comment, and send DMs.

Kanye made a post hurling racially biased comment at Trevor, hours after he talked about the Kanye, Kim and Pete situation on The Daily Show.

“All in together now… K-n baya my lord k-n baya K-n baya my lord K-n baya Oooo’ lord K-n baya” Kanye captioned a screenshot from a Google search result describing Noah as a “South African comedian.”

He also took a swipe at comedians DL Hughley and David Sirus.

According to Meta, there will be more stringent measures taken against the billionaire rapper if he continues to violate the guidelines of the social media app.
