Ned Nwoko: Court revokes Jaruma’s bail, orders re-arrest

The judge ordered that the kayanmata seller be arrested and remanded in Suleja Correctional Center until her next hearing on March 17.

Aphrodisiac seller Hauwa Mohammed, popularly known as Jaruma, will be  returning back to jail as the court has revoked her bail and ordered her re-arrest.

The presiding judge, Ismail Abdulahi, at the Upper Area Court, Zuba Abuja, ordered the re-arrest of the controversial kayanmata seller due to her failure to appear in court today couple with the absence of a representative.

Jaruma was arrested on January 25 for alleged publication of defamatory information against influential businessman Ned Nwoko and his actress wife, Regina Daniels.

She was remanded in prison custody and eventually released on January 28, her case was adjourned till February 23. On Wednesday, Jaruma and her representative failed to appear in court.

The judge ordered that the kayanmata seller be arrested and remanded in Suleja Correctional Center until her next hearing on March 17.
