Nigerian sprinter, Blessing Okagbare, on Saturday, reacted to her 10-year ban by Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

“My attention has been drawn to the statement issued by the AIU regarding its disciplinary panel decision,” Okagbare said.

“My lawyers are currently studying it for our next line of action which we will inform you soon,” she added.

Okagbare, 33, was handed a total of 10-year for multiple breaches of anti-doping rules by the AIU on Friday.

Okagbare, who has an Olympic silver medal in long jump from the 2008 Beijing Games, was provisionally suspended before the 100 metres semi-finals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics last year.
