A woman identified as Queen Beatrice has reportedly killed her husband at Okitipupa Local Government area of Ondo state, over allegations of infidelity.

Ms. Beatrice had accused her late husband for receiving calls from another woman in her presence. She smashed a plank on her husband’s head during an argument that ensued thereafter. The man died in the process.

“During the fight, she hit him with a plank and he died instantly. They have arrested her,” the woman’s relative told The Nation.

Confirming the incident, Ondo State Police spokesperson said “we really can’t say the cause of his death was a case of infidelity but a woman has killed her husband. She has been apprehended, there is an ongoing investigation as we speak.”

The suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, SCID, in Akure for further investigation, he said.
