Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will chair the inaugural Public Sector Risk and Governance Summit (PSRGS) 2021.

Joachim Adenusi, the Managing Director/CEO of Conrad Clark Nigeria (CCN), made this known on Friday in Lagos.

Mr Adenusi, the summit chief host, said the vice president would give the opening address at the summit scheduled for November 30.

He noted that Mr Osinbajo’s acceptance to participate was a considerable endorsement of the group’s effort to engage Nigerian public sector institutions and political leaders in dialogues on the art of effective risk handling.

He added that the summit would galvanise stakeholders into embracing new approaches for delivering services, optimising public performance, and improving transparency and accountability.

Mr Adenusi said the CCN’s flagship PSRGS was a platform for decision-makers, thought leaders and other stakeholders to discuss best practices in delivering good risk governance and efficient public services.

This, he said, would drive the country to achieve economic prosperity and social progress.

“It will also prevent future risks and leveraging opportunities amid uncertainties in a fast-changing world. We are greatly delighted that the Vice President will be our summit chair. Other speakers at the one-day hybrid summit include Dr Tayo Aduloju, Senior Fellow, Economic Policy, Strategy and Competitiveness at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG),” said Mr Adenusi.
