PDP governors meet Wednesday to strategise on party matters

The governors are meeting to discuss party matters and strategies to reposition the party.

Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will meet on Wednesday ahead of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for September 9.

Chairman, PDP Governors Forum, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, disclosed this in a statement issued by the Forum’s Director-General, C.I.D Maduabum, in Abuja.

It stated that Mr Tambuwal, in consultation with his colleagues, had summoned an extraordinary meeting of the Forum for 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the statement, the meeting would discuss party matters and strategies to reposition the PDP ahead of the NEC meeting holding on Thursday.

It reassured PDP stakeholders and Nigerians of the governors’ commitment, determination and loyalty to claim power from the All Progressives Congress-led government.
