The Police have vowed to apprehend criminals abducting and killing young women for unknown reasons in Benue state.

In a statement by its spokesperson, Sewuese Anene, on Monday in Makurdi, the command said it was “on the trail of these persons and will definitely apprehend them.”

Soliciting for help, the command said its success was reliant on the public’s assistance. “This can, however, be made easier with the cooperation of members of the public.”

The command further asked parents and guardians “to watch over their children and wards to avoid the occurrence of such cases,” asking the public to report suspicious persons.
