Qatar 2022: Osimhen, Ighalo missing as 21 Eagles players arrive camp

In preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying game against Liberia, 21 Super Eagles players have arrived camp at Tangier, Morocco.

In preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying game against Liberia, 21 Super Eagles players have arrived camp at Tangier, Morocco, while Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Odion Ighalo are expected to arrive camp today.

The Super Eagles will resume training on Tuesday in preparation for their game against Liberia on November 13.

“Good morning from Tangier, Morocco,” the Eagles said, announcing that “21 players are in camp” on Facebook on Tuesday morning.

The 21 players in camp include Maduka Okoye, Daniel Akpeyi, Paul Onuachu, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Kevin Akpoguma, Wilfred Ndidi and Jamilu Collins.

Others are Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi of Everton, Chidera Chidera Ejuke, Frank Onyeka, Kelechi Iheanacho, Chidozie Awaziem, Samuel Chukwueze, Kenneth Omeruo, Moses Simon, Zaidu Sanusi, Shehu Abdullahi, Leon Balogun, and Jo Aribo.

The Super Eagles have lost just one game, topping Group C with nine points in four games.
