A woman is suing American singer Trey Songz for $20 million, claiming she was raped by the singer in 2016.

According to TMZ, the unidentified woman, referred to as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, claimed that the R&B singer raped her during a house party in Los Angeles on March 24, 2016.

Prior to the alleged incident, the woman seemed to have already engaged in several “consensual” sexual activities with the singer. On the day  of the incident, the woman claimed that the singer repeatedly demanded “anal sex” which she refused.

However, Ms Doe told the court that despite refusing Trey’s demand, the singer took her to a bedroom and forcibly pinned her face to the ground and penetrated her anus.

Afterwards, Ms Doe proceeded to the hospital where medical professionals confirmed “severe anal tearing.”

Ms Doe is now suing Trey Songz for damages.
