Nigerian-born British songwriter, Helen Folasade Adu’s transgender son, Izaak Theo, has walked down the aisle with his girlfriend Margie.

The songwriter’s transgender son took to his social media to display wedding pictures of hiself and Margie which occurred on Friday, April 16, 2021 in  Hawaii. The development has since generated much conversation among liberals and conservatives.

“Mr and Mrs Adu Watts.04.16.21 I love you my girl. My wife Mrs. Adu-Watts” he posted

Although Izaak has always been as identified a member of the LGBTQ+ community, the 24 year old publicly declared his sexual orientation in 2016 and embraced his identity as transgender and went through a gender reassessment surgery in 2019.

The lovebirds got engaged last year and were initially set to tie the knot on October 13, 2020 but didn’t due to unknown reasons.

The 24 year old has been very transparent about his transgender journey since 2016 and has also been expressive to the public on how supportive his Nigerian-born British mother has been through out his journey.
