Shehu Ibrahim: Grand Khadi of Kaduna Sharia Court of Appeal buried

Shehu Ibrahim, Grand Khadi of the Kaduna State Sharia Court of Appeal, who died on October 26 has been buried in Kaduna.

The late Grand Khadi was buried at the Unguwan Sarki Burial Ground about 11:00 am.

The Judge of Sharia Court in Magajin Gari, Murtala Nasir, said the deceased had interviewed him when he applied to be a judge of the Sharia Court.

Ibrahim Iliyasu, a lawyer and coursemate of the deceased at the Bayero University, Kano, prayed to “God to have mercy on his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest.”

Former chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Kaduna, Sule Shu’aibu, described the deceased as a man of integrity and achiever within the state’s judiciary.
