The Taliban on Monday denied a United Nations report that it killed more than 100 members of the former Afghan government and its security forces.

The Taliban caretaker government spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, said on Twitter that “after general amnesty, no one is allowed to harm anyone.

“If any revenge-taking incident is reported, we will investigate and punish perpetrators.”

Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, reportedly said that the UN had obtained “credible allegations” that more than 100 individuals from the Afghan Government, its security forces and those aiding international forces had been killed since the Taliban seized control of the country in August 2021.
