President Tinubu prays to God Almighty to grant the soul of the late monarch peaceful repose.
”Let us be confident and prayerful. I am sure that things will turn around very soon,” he said.
“Most of my Muslim brothers and sisters abstain from sins during the Ramadan fasting but have the habit of not sustaining good morals after the fasting period,” said the council.
“Adherents should sustain the lessons of Ramadan, such as endurance, patience, sacrifice and sharing in their livelihoods,” he said.
Renewed hope is very much alive; Nigerians should be hopeful,” Mr Tinubu declared.
Governors Nasir Idris and Dauda Lawal have urged the Muslim faithful to use Eid-el-Fitr to seek divine intervention in tackling Nigeria’s challenges.
Consider anyone who sends you far away from Allah as your enemy. Stick with righteous people and run away from criminals and evildoers,” he said.
“I will urge my Muslim faithful to emphasise the need for continued devotion to prayer and righteous living.’’
Fasting is one of the five basic obligations for Muslims.
