‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ TV show returns

A promoter of the game show told Peoples Gazette that the show will air in the last quarter of the year.

Nigerian biggest game show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?”,  is set to return to TV screens with N20 million grand prize.

The number one show that last aired on June 25, 2017 after successfully airing for 13 years, will now return to the big screens as winners stand the chance to win 20 million naira grand prize weekly, organisers said in a statement.

“The widely celebrated and highly acclaimed TV game show that keeps Nigerian families glued to their seats, ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?’ (WWTBAM), is back, bigger and better with contestants now standing a chance to duel it out for a fantastic grand prize of 20 million every week all year long,” the press release reads.

The show requires contestants with the fastest finger to qualify for the main game and correctly answer every question to land the mouth-watering price.

Although a specific date for the reboot was not stated, People’s Gazette reached out to one of executive producers of the show Mr Hakeem who confirmed the show will air by the last quarter of this year.
