Western Style Rugs

"We wanted to turn an old barn into a modern farmhouse for my client to host friends and family," says designer Sarah Moore of Sarah Catherine Design. "In this bedroom, we countered the white shiplap walls with some bolder accents like an iron bed, bamboo shades, vintage chest and lots of buffalo check on the bed. I love how the bright walls and natural light coordinate with some of the more rustic features in this space to give it make it feel like a modern farmhouse cabin."

3. Warm the oil in your cast-iron skillet over the campfire. You can swirl the oil to coat the bottom of the skillet. The batter should be evenly spread into the skillet. Wrap the skillet in foil and crimp the edges. Or cover it with a foil lid.

3. Over your campfire, heat the oil in your cast iron skillet. Swirl to coat the bottom (be sure to use something to protect you from the heat—the skillet will get very hot!). Pour the batter into the skillet, ensuring that it’s in an even layer. Cover the skillet with foil, crimping the foil around the edges, or cover with a lid.
