the home and loudly greeting the homeowners, who are sitting in the
middle of the living room.
POLICEMAN B
Hello, sir and madam. You aren't
working today?
THE MAN
Hello! Is there anything we can do
for you?
POLICEMAN B
I am the neighborhood policeman. I
have something to ask you.
THE MAN
Then please step inside.
The girl's father pulls out a short stool from under the wobbly table.
THE MAN (CONT'D)
Please, sit here for now. Our home
is not too well equipped.
POLICEMAN B
No problem. I understand. How is
your business these days?
THE MAN
The same. Just getting by.
POLICEMAN B
You two look sad. Are you worried
