Constitution and amendments (1891-1971); executive board minutes and committee reports (1919-1987); descriptions of apples compiled by John S. Harris (1899-1901); central testing station diary (1888); lists of members and membership premiums (1886-1919); scrapbooks containing clippings, published photographs, and notes on annual meetings (1867-1930); certificate of award for Minnesota fruit from the 1904 St. Louis Exposition; and blueprints for the University of Minnesota Horticultural Building (1915).

Financial records include treasurer's books (1898-1912); record and account book of the society's exhibit at the St. Louis Exposition (1904); and contingent fund journal (1919-1928). These include records of monies paid for seeds, plants, fruits, vegetables, speakers, cold storage, shipping, transportation, and awards; and payments received for seeds, plants, and membership dues.
