Congratulations to Dr. Nyanbol Deng Kuol, first female PhD holder from Abyei

Nyanbol Deng-Majok Kuol has been conferred the Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil/PhD) by Victoria University, Australia on 16th December 2020.

Dr. Nyanbol will be among the first female PhD holders from Abyei, among the few female PhD holders in science from South Sudan, probably the first female PhD specializing in cancer and the youngest from South Sudan, and the fourth PhD holder from the family of the Paramount Chief Deng (Majok) Kuol after Dr Francis, Dr. Biong and myself (Dr Luka Biong).

Congratulation to Dr. Nyanbol for her sterling academic achievement and welcome to our club of PhD holders. This will be one of the best ways of concluding 2020 and to welcome 2021.
