The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Movement has called on Nigerians across the country to support the president’s reelection ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The national coordinator of the group, Sunday Asuku, made the call while addressing newsmen on the sidelines of a rally organised in support of Mr Tinubu as the All Progressives Congress (APC) holds its presidential primary election.

He said Mr Tinubu’s leadership style and reforms initiated offered hope for the future of the country.

“We are supporting President Tinubu’s re-election, come 2027. Let everyone come out, from the north, south, east and west massively and vote.

“A vote for Tinubu is a vote for your future. It is a vote for tomorrow and vote for brighter and greater Nigeria,” he said.

Mr Asuku appealed to Nigerians not to be deterred by the security and economic challenges facing the country, saying that the decadence of decades could not be fixed in four years.

He said Mr Tinubu required more time to consolidate the ongoing reforms, urging all Nigerians to support the president.

“The reforms will bring long term prosperity to Nigeria. We have had leaders in the past but this is the first leader that is moving in the right direction,” he said.

Mr Asuku assured that there would be light at the end of the tunnel, saying that Nigeria was in good hands with Mr Tinubu at the helm of affairs.

He, however, cautioned Nigerians to be wary of desperate politicians defecting from party to party in search of political power.
