Mandsir Adamu was arraigned before the Kubwa Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, on Tuesday for an alleged criminal conspiracy.

The police charged Adamu of NNPC Junction, Abuja, with criminal conspiracy and mischief.

The prosecuting counsel, John Okpa told the court that the complainant, Bankole Peter reported the matter at Kubwa Police Station on April 26.

Mr Okpa said the defendant and ‘Daddy’ conspired without provocation and damaged the complainant’s trailer tank wire, valued at N38,000.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty.

The magistrate, Oyepeju Mustapha, admitted the defendant to bail of N100,000 with one surety.

The magistrate, who said the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction, ordered that the surety must produce means of identification.

She adjourned the case until July 8 for a hearing.
