Khalil Rahman Haqqani, Afghanistan’s acting minister of refugees, has called for legal aid for Afghan refugees in a meeting with United Nations officials.

Afghan TV station TOLOnews reported this on Tuesday evening.

While holding talks with Daniel Peter Endres, UN deputy special representative and resident and humanitarian coordinator ad interim for Afghanistan, the senior official also discussed the Afghan refugees in many other countries.

They discussed the situation of internally displaced persons in Afghanistan and the aid distribution mechanism.
