All supplementary elections to hold April 15: INEC

The supplementary election is for all outstanding governorship, national and state assembly polls.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed April 15 for the conduct of outstanding governorship, national and state assembly supplementary elections.

This is contained in a statement on Monday by Rotimi Oyekanmi, the chief press secretary to INEC chairman.

“Arising from its meeting held today (Monday), INEC has decided that all outstanding governorship, national and state assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday, April 15,” he said.

“A detailed official statement will follow shortly.”
