Peter Umeadi, a presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), says repositioning Nigeria’s judicial system to engender security and economic prosperity will be paramount on his agenda if elected in 2023.

“My presidency will improve the judiciary arm of government and our judicial system by strict application and adherence to principles of law, separation of powers and due process.

“I will use our judicial system to engender security of lives and property and bring economic revitalisation and prosperity to Nigerians,” he told journalists.

Mr Umeadi also vowed to promote the overall good of every Nigerian regardless of their ethnic group.

“I pledge to administer Nigeria with firmness and fairness to ensure progress, harmony and prosperity,” Mr Umeadi, the former Anambra State Chief Judge, said to journalists.

The aspirant said that his administration would judiciously expend resources to provide basic amenities for all Nigerians to reposition the country to greatness.

According to him, his presidency will surmount the country’s pertinent developmental challenges.

“What is important to take up the job of the president of Nigeria is the right frame of mind.

“And the mindset to expeditiously overcome the developmental challenges bedeviling Nigeria is what I am bringing into the office,” he said.
