Army hands over 37 suspected criminals to police in Lagos

Soldiers arrested the suspects at different black spots in Lagos for alleged cultism, thuggery and related offences.

The police in Lagos says it received 37 suspected criminals arrested by the Nigerian Army in different parts of the state.

The command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this to journalists on Tuesday.

Mr Hundeyin said soldiers arrested all the suspects at different black spots in Lagos, including the popular Oshodi Bus Stop.

He said the suspects were arrested for alleged cultism, thuggery and related offences.

The image maker said a discreet investigation would be carried out on them, and those found guilty would be charged to court.
