“Eight of them, including a nurse, have been rescued after they escaped from the kidnappers’ den,” he revealed.
The worshippers, it was gathered, are members of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke Igan, in Akure, Ondo, and were travelling for a burial within the state.
The notice was signed by 11 members out of 26 members of the State House of Assembly.
Mr Olajidi later vowed that the assembly would proceed with the legislative process against Mr Aiyedatiwa to a logical conclusion.
The protesters shut down the State House of Assembly entrance and prevented vehicular movement for several hours.
Mr Oladiji, however, explained that he had reported the threat to his life to security agencies in the state.
The defendants in the suit are the Ondo State government, the governor, the Ondo Assembly, its speaker and clerk and the state chief judge.
The process was initiated during plenary on Wednesday.
