Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide, on Sunday, amplified a tweet by Bayo Onanuga saying critics of president-elect, Bola Tinubu, will die soon.

“All those sons of bitches tweeting the hashtags #TinubuTheDrugDealer #TinubuForPrison, your days are numbered,” Mr Onanuga tweeted.

In approval and support of Mr Onanuga’s death wish for Mr Tinubu’s critics, Mr Ahmad retweeted, amplifying and giving it more visibility to his 1.5 million followers on Twitter.

Mr Onanuga’s death wish for Mr Tinubu’s critics comes barely 24 hours after the State Security Service (SSS) warned politicians against making inciting and inflammatory statements.

SSS in a statement on Saturday condemned those making inciting and inflammatory statements, warning to deal with them.

“It is otherwise disturbing to see respected personalities use their platforms to mislead or incite citizens. This, to say the least, does not augur well for peaceful coexistence and general order.

“Therefore, the Service will continue to take necessary measures to checkmate these elements who do not wish the country well,” a statement by the SSS on Saturday reads in part.
