Benue speaker promises continuous impactful legislation

He encouraged Benue citizens not to succumb to despair despite the challenges being faced but to maintain hope in the country.

The speaker of the Benue House of Assembly, Hyacinth Dajoh, has promised that the assembly would continue to enact laws that would positively affect the people.

Mr Dajoh made the promise in his independence message, signed by his chief press secretary, Terver Zamber, and made available to journalists on Tuesday in Makurdi.

The speaker assured that the assembly, under his watch, would continue to legislate for the betterment of the state, saying every citizen deserves opportunities to thrive.

He encouraged Benue citizens not to succumb to despair despite the challenges being faced but to maintain hope in the country.

Mr Dajoh pointed out that the government was actively implementing plans to address the prevailing challenges.

The number one Benue lawmaker expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future and urged Nigerians to focus on facts about public discourse for the nation’s growth.

Mr Dajoh urged the citizens to recommit to the principles of unity, justice, and equality to foster a spirit of inclusivity, tolerance, and collective growth.

The speaker wished Nigerians a happy 64th Independence Day celebration.
