Buhari felicitates Catholic bishop, Kukah, at 70

Mr Kukah, a critic of Mr Buhari’s regime, turned 70 on Wednesday.

President Muhammadu Buhari has felicitated the Catholic bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Matthew Hassan Kukah, on his birthday.

Mr Kukah, a critic of Mr Buhari’s regime, turned 70 on Wednesday.

In a congratulatory message by his media aide Femi Adesina, on Tuesday in Abuja, Mr Buhari joined the Catholic Church, friends and associates in celebrating with the priest on the milestone.

The president noted the contributions of the priest, teacher, scholar and writer to national discourse.

He prayed that the almighty God would grant Mr Kukah a longer life, good health and strength.
