Burna Boy to perform at 2024 Grammys

The self-proclaimed African Giant, who won a Grammy award in 2021, will perform as the only African artiste at the 66th edition.

Afro-fusion artiste Damini Ebunoluwa, popularly known as Burna Boy, is set to perform at the 2024 Grammys, slated to be held on February 4 in Los Angeles.

The Recording Academy announced this on its Instagram page on Monday. Burma Boy will perform alongside singers like Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, and Olivia Rodrigo. 

The self-proclaimed African Giant, who won a Grammy award in 2021, will perform on the stage as the only African artiste at the 66th edition of the awards.

Burna Boy secured nominations in four categories at the upcoming awards: Best Global Music Album for “I Told Them…”; Best African Music Performance for “City Boys”; Best Global Music Performance for “Alone”; and Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Sittin’ on Top of the World”). 

Notably, he clinched the Best Global Music Album award in 2021 for “Twice as Tall.”
