The Lagos State chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has urged Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to put security agents on red alert as the Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

While felicitating Muslims on Saturday, IPAC chairman in the state, Olusegun Mobolaji, said that the state should not lose guard during the celebration.

“We also call on the state government to put all necessary measures in place to avoid stories that touch during this period,” Mr Mobolaji said.

He added, “We also use this opportunity to advise everyone to be security-conscious and concerned as we go about our festive activities.

Mr Mobolaji urged Muslims to avoid domestic incidents and major accidents.

“We all know and understand the situation of the country presently both security and economic wise.

“So please, tread carefully and don’t do more than yourself,” the IPAC boss urged.
