Bukayo Saka shines as Arsenal on Sunday thrashed West Ham 6-0 in the English Premier league to keep their title hope alive.

Sunday’s win earned the Gunners crucial three points that keep them in third position on the EPL table just two points behind league leader, Liverpool.

The Gunners broke through West Ham’s defence, netting four of their six goals within 15 minutes in the first half, leaving the home side devastated in the second half.

Defender, William Saliba opened scoring for the Gunners, heading home a cross from Declan Rice in the 32nd minute at the Londo Stadium

Saka doubled Arsenal lead minutes later, scoring from the spot, while Gabriel Magalhaes headed home Arsenal’s third goal in the 44th minute.

West Ham had barely passed the ball when Marthin Ordegaard broke and assisted Leandro Trossard who fired in a curler into the top corner, making it four for Arsenal.

But the Gunners were not done scoring.

West Ham returned into the second half already demoralised but playing just to prevent the Gunners from doing more damage.

Saka, again in the 63rd minute, made but five for the Gunners, making a possible comeback for West Ham almost an impossible mission.

Arsenal sealed their emphatic victory with Rice’s long-range goal against his former club in the 65th minute.

With 52 points in 24 games, Arsenal are behind Liverpool with two points, while having the same points with Manchester City. However, City have a pending game.
