A former Chief Executive Officer of e-commerce company, Konga, Nick Imudia, has died by suicide.

Multiple reports noted that the 45-year old businessman, from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki, Lagos State, on Tuesday.

Prior to his demise, Mr Imudia—who was the CEO at D.light, a pioneering company in the distribution and financing of residential solar energy solutions and transformational household products, reportedly contacted his brother in the United States of America to discuss how he would like his property and other assets to be distributed in case of his death.

The businessman also reportedly reached out to his daughter from his previous marriage, assuring her that she could sense his presence by looking up at the sky and that he would always be there for her.

Meanwhile, Mr Imudia’s family, friends and associates were still shocked over the news. The reason for Mr Imudia’s action remains unknown to them as of the time of filing this report.
