Suspected bandits have kidnapped Aondo Ver, a director at the Federal Housing Authority, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Sahara Reporters reported the kidnap on Thursday.

The kidnap was said to have happened at about 12:30 a.m. at Pambara New Extension, Bwari Central Area, about 200 metres away from a military camp and checkpoint.

The kidnappers were said to have gained access into the FHA director’s home by cutting its barbed wires before abducting the victim.

According to the report, the vigilantes in the area could not rescue the government official because they were poorly armed.

Meanwhile, FCT police spokeswoman Josephine Adeh did not immediately reply to Peoples Gazette’s inquiry on the abduction of the FHA director.
