Global fintech giant Wise has announced that it will suspend money transfers to Nigeria from November 1.

Making the announcement in a statement seen by Peoples Gazette on Thursday, the fintech organisation explained that it took the decision to suspend transfers into Nigeria to enable it to address issues disturbing the process of sending money to the country.

“From 1 November, we’re stopping all USD transfers to Nigeria. We’re doing this because sending money to Nigeria hasn’t been as fast or reliable as we’d like. We want to fix this before your next USD transfer to Nigeria,” the statement disclosed.
