The international wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos has been gutted by fire.

It was gathered that the fire started at a section of the primary gateway airport as staff were going about their daily routine with passengers on standby.

The fire outbreak was said to have been caused by a faulty cable on the tarmac, with the fire razing a section of the administrative office of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Tuesday night.
