Ghanaian fans were left disappointed after Wizkid failed to show up for his live concert at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

In a viral video, fans and party goers can be seen exiting the stadium at 4:03 a.m. frustrated after waiting in vain for 12 hours to see the Nigerian superstar perform. The show was billed to end at 3:00 a.m.

The Grammy winner who was billed to headline the concert pulled up a no-show despite the stage performances by a few Ghanaian musicians.

The act from the Essence crooner sparked outrage as Ghanaian fans in multiple viral videos could be seen expressing their frustration after they bought tickets ranging between GH¢300 to GH¢3,200 just to watch him perform.

This is not the first time Wizkid has failed to turn up for shows. In April 2016 the singer didn’t show up for a maiden concert in Zimbabwe even when he was present in the country while in 2011 he failed to show up for a concert at the University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
