Grammy-winning artist Wizkid released a remix of his groundbreaking song “essence” featuring Canadian music star Justin Bieber.

Peoples Gazette had initially reported after confirmation from his team that the artist was set to drop a remix of the new global anthem “essence”.

Star Boy eventually dropped the song on August 13.

“Thank you for letting me jump on the song of the summer. Essence remix out now,” Justin Bieber posted on his Instagram page, appreciating Wizkid for the opportunity.

Summer track “essence” from the “Made In Lagos” album was released on October 30, 2020 but over time, the song has obtained massive international recognition and even landed on Billboard Top 100.

The second runner-up couple of Nigerian love reality TV show Ultimate Love, Iyke and Theresa called off their engagement during the week.

The couple who recently got engaged in May, met at the first season of the show and have publicly flaunted their relationship “goals” on social media up until the shocking break up.

Theresa made the heartbreaking announcement of their separation via Instagram on August 11.

“I’m sorry to all Iykeresa lovers and believers but we’ve decided to go our separate ways which is best for us. We hope you respect our decision as we forge ahead with our lives and careers,” she posted.

Iyke and Theresa are the second couple from the “Ultimate Love” show to call off their engagement.

The winning couple, Kachi and Rosie called off their relationship in 2020, barely a year after the show ended.

Still keeping viewers glued to their TV, housemates of Big Brother “Shine Ya Eye” Season 6 continue to provide undiluted entertainment as promised.

Week four of the show started with an unexpected twist from Big Brother.

Four new housemates Kayvee, Micheal, JMK, and Queen were ushered into the house and three housemates Niyi, Yerins, and Beatrice were unfortunately evicted from the game at the eviction show on August 8.

The usual Head of House dice game commenced on Monday, where all housemates contested for the HOH position, except Boma and Jackie B who won last week and are not valid to contest again yet.

Pere emerged as the winner and chose Maria as his deputy.

The nomination process proceeded as housemates nominated collectively leaving Arin, Emmanuel, Nini, Princess, Saga, and Tega up for possible eviction this week.

The head of house Pere, used this veto power to save Saga and replaced him with Saskay for possible eviction.

Housemates were engaged in lots of tasks, one of which was the Eva Soap task in which Peace emerged as the winner with a cash gift of N250,000.

With their unending disagreements, occasional “gbas gbos” and entertaining Saturday live party, the housemates served the viewers with premium content.
