Mr Mohammed gave the commendation at the government house on Thursday while receiving the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Adamu and other traditional title holders on a Sallah homage.

Mr Mohammed, with a firm commitment, stated that his administration will continue to collaborate with the federal government, aiming to elevate the standard of traditional institutions in the state and ensure their efforts are duly recognised.

Mr Mohammed also expressed satisfaction with the 2024 colourful Durbar procession and urged the traditional institutions in the state to maintain the age-long tradition.

Mr Adamu said they were at the Government House to exercise the annual tradition and expressed delight at the successful completion of Ramadan fasting.

The emir expressed his delight at the successful completion of Ramadan fasting and commended the governor for his efforts in upgrading the palaces of all the emirs and district heads across the state, a move that would undoubtedly enhance their operations.
